Highway, Road and Parking Lot Crack Sealing
D.K.I Services specializes in crack sealing of public roadways, parking lots, and pedestrian asphalt surfaces with state of the art equipment. For this service, we use Cimline Magma 230 HDC Crack Sealing Machines, Cimline PCR25 Router and Cimline Hot Rod Heat Lance.
Canadian and U.S. transportation bodies agree that crack sealing is the number one way to preserve roads and save money as it prevents water from infiltrating into the sub-base/substrate, which causes asphalt to crack and break under heavy traffic or loads.
Left alone, unsealed cracks will propagate and multiply as time goes on, creating more costly repairs in the future.
D.K.I will route (optional) and clean out your cracks with hot, compressed air and heat lance them if moisture is present. We then fill the cracks with hot, liquid, rubberized sealer that is injected into the void/crack and tooled/banded over the crack.
The result is a waterproof surface that will not allow the water to penetrate into the sub-base for years to come.

Sealcoating
Sealcoating is the most neglected part of preserving asphalt surfaces.
The sun’s ultraviolet rays oxidize asphalt, causing it to harden and crack; cracks then allow water to penetrate the surface and weaken the sub-base over time, resulting in further cracking and a compromised foundation.
Sealcoating protects your asphalt from the sun and from chemical spills (oil, gas, diesel, etc.), thus extending the life of your pavement and making your asphalt surfaces look new again.
